The insurance card has an essential importance for the supply of services in Urocentrum. That is why we remind all the clients of Urocentrum to bring the card to every appointment. Otherwise the examination could be postponed until a valid card presentation. This duty doesn’t apply to patients who pay the supplied services in cash.
We don’t have contracts with other health insurance companies. Patients can be treated but they have to pay the single acts, and then they present the bill to their insurance company for the repayment.
Important information for patients who have Czech or European insurance and do not speak Czech.
In order to avoid any misunderstanding during communication with patients who do not speak Czech, it is advisable that these clients are accompanied by an interpreter. In the event that a patient wishes to speak with a doctor in English, the patient must explicitly state that such communication is entirely comprehensible to him/her. The patient is then charged 500 CZK for each visit. This fee is payable in cash.
Information for patients insured abroad.
Clients insured abroad pay for their treatment in cash and following the completion of their treatment they receive a summary invoice for their insurance company. From our experience to date, there have been no problems with subsequent reimbursement by insurance companies. Further information is available at the Urocentrum reception.
